Manager, New Equipment & Modernization

The Florence based field support team is looking for a highly motivated individual to work with the local superintendents to prep job sites, assist installation crews, and help develop standard work processes for Otis and Non Otis New Equipment and Modernization. This position will include frequent travel to job sites and manufacturers of equipment Otis will install across North America.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Training in offices with new Core installations
  • Help develop installation processes for Otis equipment New Equipment and Modernization
  • Develop installation tooling to increase efficiency and safety in the field
  • Work closely with the CLCs on providing our field teams accurate drawings and installation manuals
  • Work with the CLCs on crating and labeling of the material delivered to the field
  • Create installation/best practices training videos
  • Work with EH&S to ensure our field employees are following safe work practices while installing any equipment
  • Make sure all material provided by the manufacturers and developed by Otis is available to the field on the support app
  • Assist the field with quality turnover to the customer and our maintenance department
  • Train and certify regions to conduct installation quality inspections
  • Conduct audits on regional installation quality inspections.
  • Performs IOQs on Amazon NE installs

 

Qualifications:

  • Technical field experience required, 15+ years preferred
  • Industry experience preferred but not required
  • Good communication skills
  • Strong leadership skills

 

Location and Travel:

  • This position can be remote
  • Extensive travel will be required
