Remote MDS Coordinator (Full-Time/Part-Time/ California License)

We offer full-time or part-time (exempt or non-exempt) position opportunities reporting to our Director of Consulting Services.

 

Key Experience Needed Participate in patient assessments by overseeing the assessment process, setting schedules, and assuring accuracy.

Determine accurate expenses associated with a potential admission. Review all applications for admission and communicate results of the assessment.

Complete and assure the accuracy of the MDS process for all residents.Maintain current working knowledge of criteria, serving as a resource for staff and communicating changes in regulations.

 

Look for potential risks and/or changes that may affect reimbursement. Facilitate problem-solving for complicated admissions. Start the Medicare process and monitor assessment schedules and nursing documentation to ensure accuracy and timely submission.

Maintain client confidentiality and function within HIPAA regulations. All other assignments and projects as directed by leadership.QualificationsExperience in MDS coordinator role or related experience.
